Valentin Sanchez Castellanos

Valentin Sanchez Castellanos, age 66, of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. He was born on May 21, 1959, in Monterrey, Mexico, to Gregorio Sanchez and Josefina Castellanos. With unwavering dedication, Valentin devoted 35 years to the field of construction and proudly co-owned Sanchez Construction alongside his sons.

Valentin is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Gregorio Sanchez and Josefina Castellanos. He leaves behind a cherished legacy through his children: Valentin (Noemi), David (Ruby), Daniel, Jose, Gregorio (Veronica), Jesus (Lori), and Cano Bustillos (Beatrice). He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to Greg (Monika), Gabriella, Danielle, Denise, Dominic, Leonardo, Julia, Chuyito, Jayden, Giovani, Sophia, Valentina, Valeria, Julieta, Andrea, Jesus Sebastian, Amaya, Evelyn, Johnathon, Juan Manuel, Sebastian, Alex, Christian, Charlie, Delilah, Giselle, Cassandra, Grecia, Rodrigo, Andrea, and Ariana; and his lifelong partner, Gloria Garcia.

He is also survived by his siblings, Yolanda, Patty, Geronimo, Juan, Carlos, and Rosendo, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

His family would like to extend a special thank you to his close friends, Alberto Hernandez, Jesus Ponce, and Juan Rodriguez; along with Valley Regional Medical Center ICU.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a service at 6:00 p.m. at Los Fresnos Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home, located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas.

Valentin's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
