Thomas C. King

Thomas Clyde King was born on October 5,1939 in Conneration, Madison Township, Rimersburg, Pennsylvania to Delbert and Dora [Schaefer] King. He passed away peacefully at Victoria Comfort Homes in Harlingen, Texas.

Thomas was one of four boys. He grew up in Rimersburg, PA, where he also attended school until he enlisted in the Army. Following his years of service, he held many various jobs until he settled at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, where he worked for many years until retirement. After taking an early retirement, Thomas worked for Morgan Drive Away, delivering motorhomes with his wife, Anges and that is how they discovered their winter home in Indian Lake, TX.

Thomas enjoyed spending spring and summer on his farm in Rimersburg and often traveled to visit with his family in Maine and NH. In the colder months, he and Agnes enjoyed the sunshine in Texas with their friends who turned into family. Thomas was an avid hunter and gardener, he could often be found referencing the Farmer’s Almanac. He was full of life and was always making small talk anywhere he went.

Thomas was predeceased by his mother Dora, father Delbert, brothers Gerald, Fred and John, wife Agnes, daughter Suzette LaFleur, and son James.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Hennelly of Berwick, ME; granddaughters, Shelby Hennelly and Jillian Orsi-king; grandson, William “Buddy”, great-grandchildren, Jayce and Brayleigh as well as many friends.
