Teresa De Jesus Cervantez de Garcia

Teresa De Jesus Cervantez de Garcia, age 61, of Harlingen, Texas, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Born on October 21, 1963, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Rosendo and Marina Cervantez, Teresa was a cherished soul known for her warmth and compassion.

A devoted wife and mother, Teresa found joy in spending time with her family, traveling with her beloved husband, and reading her Bible. She dedicated her professional life as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where her kindness and care left a lasting impact on those she served.

Teresa's legacy continues through her loving husband, Carlos Garcia, along with her children: Priscilla Sanchez (Gildardo), Marina Olivarez (Jesus), Melissa Olivarez, Roberto Olivarez Jr. (Patricia), Danny Olivarez (Julissa), and stepdaughter, Miranda Maldonado Garcia (Jr.). She also leaves behind her grandchildren who will forever hold her memory in their hearts: Rebecca Alvarado, Alina Bulanos, Ivan Sanchez, Gildardo Sanchez Jr., Homero Puente Jr., Alejandro Puente, Julio C. Puente, Jose Puente, Alondra Puente, Jesus Puente, Alexa Puente, Noemi G. Saenz, Emily Saenz, Ricardo Saenz Jr., Ryan C. Faustino, Leilany G. Ramos, Ximena Cervantes, Denetrio Sanchez, Jackie Sanchez, Hermelinda Sanchez, Ryllie Maldonado, Broody Maldonado, Logan Maldonado, Luke Maldonado, and Audri Maldonado, alongside her late grandson, ✟Jaxon Maldonado.

A visitation to honor Teresa’s life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Los Fresnos Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home, located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas. 

Teresa will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
