Ricardo Cuellar Garcia

Ricardo Cuellar Garcia, 92 years of age passed away on July 17, 2022 in Port Isabel, Texas. Ricardo was born on September 3, 1929 to Pedro and Catarina Cuellar Garcia in Port Isabel, Texas.

Ricardo was a shrimp boat captain for 50 years and was retired. He enjoyed fishing and shrimping, and was a member of the Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel.

Ricardo is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Dolores Garcia.

Left behind to cherish his loving memory are his children, Reynaldo V. Garcia, Pedro V. Garcia, Ricardo Garcia Jr., Hilda Whitaker, Enedina Camacho, Deborah V. Garcia, Zulema A. Garcia, Luisa Martinez; 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday July 20, 2022 from 1 p.m.- 8 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy rosary at 6 p.m. at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home in Los Fresnos, Texas. Cremation will follow as per Mr. Garcia’s wishes.
