Norma Linda Martinez

Norma Linda Martinez 59 passed away in Los Fresnos, Texas on Friday, January 16th surrounded by her family. Born October 3, 1966 in Laureles, Texas to Jose Guadalupe Rodriguez and Tomasa Cruz.

Norma Linda was a Die Hard fan of “America’s Team” the Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed fishing and retired auto mechanic.

She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Martinez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jonathon Rodriguez, Manuel Martinez, Jr., Noel Martinez, Joel Martinez, Joanna Lee Martinez, daughter in-law Cynthia Villanueva, and son in-law Angel Valdez. Grandchildren: Angela Nevaeh Olguin-Rodriguez, Angel Jackson Valdez, Aliyahjo Valdez, Ezekiel Alberto Valdez, Esai Florentino Martinez, Ismael Manuel Martinez, Klaris Elaine Martinez, Amanda Mercedes Martinez, and Stacy Denise Martinez. Her great granddaughter Kamila Adalanie Quintero.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20th at Los Fresnos Funeral Home from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm. Funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, January 21st at Los Fresnos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jonathan Rodriguez, Manuel Martinez, Noel Martinez, Joel Martinez, Esai Florentino Martinez, and Jeffrey Guajardo. Honorary pallbearer will be Ismael Manuel Martinez.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home, located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas.
