Maria Elena Perez

Born on January 8, 1959, in Los Fresnos, Texas, Maria Elena Perez was the loving daughter of David and Guadalupe Perez.

Upon graduation from Los Fresnos High School, Maria served in the United States Army and was privileged to live in various locations around the United States. However, being stationed in Germany was her most memorable experience.

Maria returned home and found that her love of literature would serve the students of Los Fresnos CISD where she served as media center assistant until her retirement.

Her love of football, literature and family will forever remain in the hearts of those that had the honor of knowing and loving Maria.

Maria was preceded in death by her father David Perez, mother Guadalupe Perez, siblings Beto Perez, Manuela Perez, Ninfa Perez, Juana Chavez, and in-laws beloved Margarita Perez and Jose Chavez. She leaves behind her brothers Filimon Perez, Jose Perez, David Perez, Rodolfo Perez, and cherished sister Anita Murray. Her memory lives in the hearts of her adored brother-in-law and sister-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, including great and great-great nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends.
