Maria Garcia Limon

Maria Garcia Limon, age 81, of Los Fresnos, Texas, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025. She was born on September 9, 1943, in Zapotlanejo, Jalisco, to Fortino Garcia and Perta Lomeli.

Maria is lovingly remembered by her children: Martin Limon (Catalina), Arnulfo Limon (Dora), Filomeno Limon Jr. (Diana), Javier Limon (Lupita), Rodrigo Limon (Gina), Rogelio Limon, and Jose Limon (Angelica). She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Jennifer, Jose Martin Jr., Arnulfo Jr., Eduardo, Moises, Joshua, Joaquin, Belia, Jesus, David, Andy, Jose Fortino Jr., Elias, and Elena. She was preceded in death by her husband, Filomeno C. Limon.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and will continue on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a prayer of the holy rosary at 6:00 p.m. on both days at Los Fresnos Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Services will conclude after the mass.

Serving as pallbearers are Martin Limon, Javier Limon, Jose Limon, Joshua Limon, Rogelio Limon, and Rodrigo Limon, with Arnulfo Limon and Filomeno Limon Jr. honored as honorary pallbearers.
