Jose Antonio Sosa

Jose Antonio Sosa 57 of Brownville passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 in Galveston, Texas.  Jose was born on October 24, 1964 in Valle Hermoso Tamps to Vicente Sosa and Herminia Rojas Serna.

Jose enjoyed watching UFC, caring for his home, and watching movies.

Jose was preceded in death by his mother Herminia Sosa and daughter Aracely Sosa.

Left to cherish his memory will be his wife Norma Aracely Sosa, his father Vicente Sosa, his children: Fabian Sosa Kenneth Sosa, Jose Antonio Sosa, Jr., and Vale Sosa. Grandchildren: Jose Antonio Sosa III, Marte Araceli Sosa, Hugo Alexander Sosa, Camila Sosa, Matias Sosa, and Nathaniel Ari Sosa. His siblings: Alicia Sosa, Vicente Sosa Jr., Maricela Sosa, Martha Garza, Jesus Sosa, Blanca Sosa, Leticia Sosa, and Vicky Sosa. Other survivors include his best friend Santos Garza, and his pet Molokai

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be on Friday, July 22, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Los Fresnos, Texas. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Brownsville, Texas.

Honor to serve as pallbearers will be Kenneth Sosa, Jesus Sosa, Vicente Sosa, Jr., Vale Sosa, Jose Antonio Sosa, Fabian Sosa, Vicente Sosa, and Santos Garza
