John Robert Harrington

John Robert Harrington 68, passed away at his residence in Laguna Vista on January 12, 2023. John was born on January 10, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Eugene and Martha Agnes Harrington.

John is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Becky Furca.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Cathy Harrington and his children: Jeremy Harrington, Bethany Harrington, and  his sister Judith Harrington-Adams.

John was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Army, and worked with AT&T from 1980 to his retirement in 2004. John volunteered his time with the National Wildlife Refuges, he was an avid birder and passionate habitat conservationist.

John’s journey with cancer brought many amazing caregivers into his life. We are grateful for all who walked it with us.
