Guillermo Flores

Guillermo Flores-Reyes, age 67, of Olmito, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in Brownsville. He was born March 13, 1958, in Matamoros, Mexico to Carlos Flores Loera and Maria Magdalena Reyes. Guillermo was a kind, charismatic, and strong person who embraced life to the fullest. He carried himself with love and integrity, navigating the world with peace. While it is difficult to say our goodbyes, Guillermo was an amazing son, brother, husband, friend, and father. He taught us that life is too short not to enjoy the little things like sunsets, clear skies, and warm days.

Guillermo is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Flores Loera; brother, Juan Carlos Flores-Reyes; and sister, Norma Laura Flores-Reyes.

He survived by his children with Maria Del Carmen Flores: Guillermo Antonio Flores, Carlos Armando Flores, Luis Alberto Flores, and his children with Sara Hedrick: Michael Angelo Flores, Ernesto Adrian Flores, and Sandra Areli Flores; grandchildren, Guillermo Flores Jr., Jesse Flores, Carmen Flores, Emiliano Flores, Aliyah Flores, Emma Flores, Eli James Flores, Dominic Aiden Madden, Brian Alexander Madden, Micheala Angela Madden, Kimberly Madden, Mia Violeta Flores, and Sebastian Flores; his loving mother, Maria Magdalena; along with his siblings, Maria Guadalupe Flores-Reyes, Maria Isabel Flores-Reyes, Maria Magdalena Flores-Reyes, Raul Flores-Reyes, Tomas Daniel Flores-Reyes, Maria Del Rosario Cuellar, Blanca Estela Diaz, and Martha Patricia Rico.

A celebration of life will be held at Los Fresnos Funeral Home on December 18, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas.
