Dora Lee Zuniga

Dora Lee Zuniga, age 54, of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026. She was born on November 3, 1971, in Dallas, Texas, to David Jose Hernandez and Cristina Torres Hernandez.

Dora was preceded in death by Valentin and Amparo Torres, Valentin Torres, Amelia Cortez, Oralia Cuellar, Olivia Sordia, Juventino and David Cortez, Albert Ramirez III, Ralph Jr., Mark Anthony, and Joe Robert Sordia.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving mother, Cristina Torres Hernandez; her siblings, Linda Hernandez, David Jose Hernandez Jr., and Ruby Ann Hernandez; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Shante Monique Delgado, Carlos Retta Jr., Jeremiah Isai Zarate, Karla Annette Retta, Thomas Andrew Zarate, Luis Alonso Delgado Jr., Arianna Lynn Zarate, Sayuri Ashanti Delgado, Oziel Ramirez, and Camilo Kristian Villanueva.

Dora is also survived by her great-nephew, Exequiel Zarate; her great-nieces, Emma Zarate and Christina Margorie Chavarria; and her cherished furry companion, Muneca, who was always faithfully by her side.

Dora will be lovingly remembered by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home, located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas.
