Aristeo Colchado

Aristeo Colchado, 65, of Los Fresnos, Texas, peacefully passed away on August 3, 2025, in Brownsville, Texas. He was born on September 3, 1959, in Cerrito Blanco, San Luis Potosi, to Anastacio Colchado and Felipa Garcia.

Aristeo will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Simona Colchado; his daughter, Ada Colchado; his cherished grandchildren, Giovanni Gallegos and Gennevi Gallegos; as well as his siblings, Benito Garcia, Martin Azua, Sotero Colchado, Fernando Colchado, Enrique Colchado, Maria Luisa Colchado, and Maria Guadalupe Colchado.

He is preceded in death by his parents, who will forever hold a special place in his heart.

A visitation to honor Aristeo's memory will take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., including a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Panteon Municipal in Cerritos, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home, located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas. Aristeo's warm spirit and loving nature will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
