Alfredo Guerra

Alfredo Guerra, age 79, of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Born on September 15, 1945, in Mexico to Antonio and Maria Luisa Guerra, Alfredo lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.

Alfredo was known for his passion for the outdoors; he enjoyed camping, fishing, and golfing, as well as indulging in reading. He had a warm and generous spirit, always taking time to play with his beloved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. His infectious laughter and vibrant personality made him the heart of every gathering.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Edgar Guerra.

Alfredo leaves behind cherished memories with his loving wife, Josephine Guerra; his children, Rachel Robert (Leon), Sylvia Smith (Keith), Alfredo Guerra, Alejandro Guerra, and Juanita Perez (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Christopher Guerra, Nancy Elsey, Antonio Guerra, Ryan Cusin, Zachary Smith, Daniela Perez, Carlos Daniel Perez, and Analyse Perez. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Mason, Luna, Lilly, and Rosa Fina.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Los Fresnos Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Los Fresnos Funeral Home, located at 1005 S. Arroyo Blvd., Los Fresnos, Texas.

Alfredo will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness and joy will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
